20 Deadlifts

20 Partner Wall Balls (TIE BREAK)...(60 reps)

 

30 Deadlifts

30 Partner Wall Balls…(120 reps)

 

40 Deadlifts

40 Partner Wall Balls and so on adding +10 Reps until time expires…(200 reps)

 

NOTES: Score Total Reps. One partner will work on the deadlifts at a time, while both partners will work together as a team on the partner wall balls. The reps will increase by 10 reps on the deadlifts and wall balls each round until time expires. A tie break will be recorded after teams complete the round of 20 reps.

  • Partner Wall Balls: Partners will perform the partner wall balls shoulder to shoulder. One partner will perform a wall ball with their hip crease below the knee and throwing the ball to a 10/9’ target. One rep is complete once the wall ball contacts the appropriate height target. The opposite partner will catch the wall ball to begin their wall ball rep. For the round of 10 wall balls, each partner will complete 5 reps. 

Deadlift: One partner working on the deadlift bar at a time. Partners may switch out at any time and may divide the reps anyway. Each rep starts on the ground with hands just outside the knees (sumo deadlifts are not allowed). Arms must be straight throughout, no bouncing or picking the barbell up on the bounce prior to it settling to the floor. The rep will be credited when the hips and knees reach full extension with the head and shoulders behind the bar.
