Open Gym: We will bring back open gym hours, including some on Sunday! The number one priority should be attending group class; however, we realize some of you would like access to do more. Open gym was eliminated not only because of COVID but also because it comes at quite a cost. All members will have free access to open gym for the rest of 2020. We will continue to quantify and determine the best structure to provide this option in 2021.
Friday Night Lights: For those of you who've been with us for a long time may remember the coaches keeping the gym open for an hour or so after class on Friday nights for a number of years. We consider you all our closest friends and enjoy just hanging out, listening to music, and having a drink. We are, at our core, a social club with an exercise problem!
Personal training and skill sessions: During open gym hours or whenever an athlete and coach agree upon, we will be offering 30 min and 60 min one-on-one sessions. This will be booked in advance so the coach can be prepared to work with the athlete on whatever is a priority for them. The coach will also give advice on ways to practice during open gym or at home.
Foundations class: The first of the month is always exciting to see new faces! As a supplement to the group class, we also will be adding an option to do this in a series of one-on-one sessions. We recognize group classes can be intimidating in the beginning and this may help ease some in. This also will be beneficial to those who may request more attention or any significant movement modification to accommodate physical restrictions.
Bring a Friend day: We will continue doing these on the third Saturday of the month so that your friends may try it before signing up for Foundations. We also will look at branching out into other times as we know not everyone can make it on a Saturday morning. Mark your calendar, the next one will be Saturday, July 18th at 8:00am & 9:30am.
