During the second half of July and all of August, we will be working to get everyone's information in our new software. With us being a new company, we will have new membership agreements and waivers to sign. Fortunately, our new software is simple to use and we can get those signed very quickly. We will have several opportunities to get your new membership set up.
We've tried to think of all the questions you may have but surely we've missed something. Please reach out to any of us if you have a question not yet answered!
Will there be any changes to the coaching and programming?
A - We will retain our current coaching staff and the programming will stay with Matt. We are exploring the possibility of adding some official scaling options to each day so that we can cater to a more broad audience. That will take some time so for now, no significant changes.
Will there be any changes to the schedule?
A - More detail to follow later this week, however, rest assured nothing will be removed from the current schedule. We are working out details on staffing so that we can have a return of Open Gym with expanded hours (including Sunday).
CrossFitters love shirts! When can I get my hands on one?
A - We are working on a design for our first shirt. Our intention is to give everyone who signs a 6 month agreement with us within the first month a free shirt as a token of our appreciation. We want to recognize all of you as our founding members (the real OG's!)
What are the new membership rates?
Single: $115/month unlimited – 6 month commitment
Added family member or spouse – must live together or engaged: $75/month unlimited – 6 month commitment
Students: $95/month unlimited – 6 month commitment
Daycare: $20/month/family - unlimited
$5.00/month discount for using ACH as payment method
No Contract Options:
Drop-In: $20 Per class or $25 for a shirt and a drop in
8 Class Punch Card: $100 - no contract, primarily for out of town drop-ins. Must have prior CF experience, one time only if local
When will the new rate start?
A - The last Bob's Gym payment will be August 2 and the first CFHB payment at the new rate will be drafted on Sept 1st.
I have a discounted membership rate at Bob's, will CFHB honor that rate?
A - There are dozens of unique membership rates under the current Bob's structure. Please reach out to Leslie Corn directly to look at your specific case. After a significant amount of analysis, we have done our best to keep rates basically the same for individuals and actually less for a couple or family when compared to the current CF8085 new member rate. At these rates, we feel confident we can at least break even on expenses in the short term. By ensuring we have a healthy company, we can better serve the members for the long haul.
What will happen to my Bob's membership?
A - Individual will cancel on Aug 30. If an individual would like to keep a Bob's membership, they will need to reach out to Leslie Corn to ensure they are set up on a plan. Family memberships and Bob's Prime Memberships will remain but CrossFit add-on will be dropped for Sept billing. Contact Leslie Corn for questions regarding your Bob's Membership.
What is the Cancellation/Freeze policy?
A - 1 month freeze (added to end of term) allowed once per contract year. We will need 2 week notice prior to billing date. Cancellation during contract is allowed but will incur a fee of 2 months dues.
Waived if they can prove moving more than 25 miles from CFHB
Waived if doctor's orders (eg. pregnancy, surgery, etc.)
Will CrossFit High Bar do paycheck deduction?
A - We do not currently have a system in place to contract with local companies. We are absolutely open to it and if you can direct us to the administrator at your place of business who would be responsible, we will discuss options.
If anyone has any questions at all, please reach out to Leslie on our website chat, FB messenger, Instagram DM, or my cell (I know most of you have it. :)
Have a great 4th of July!
